Just that quirky

Last winter when the entire music department was online, someone came up with the idea of a virtual gift exchange done through a website where you list what you would enjoy and such. I got Ben for my person and I immediately wondered what to get him.

Because we were online, most of what I knew about him was that he played the French horn and that for an interesting item activity during music major orientation he showed off a George Costanza poster he had.

One of the aspects of the website is that you could also link Amazon items in case you were lost on what to get them. I was thinking about maybe getting him something French horn or Seinfeld related, but I was way off.

Ben asked for a digital level and angle finder for what I assume to be his furniture reparation projects. It was not until I met Ben in person a couple of months later when I realized he was just that quirky and full of so many interests and hobbies.

I really hope Ben enjoyed that level, and I'm sure he made the best furniture with it.
