Spanish in person
In the peak of COVID, Ben and I were the only two in-person attendees of our Spanish class. We spent two days a week wondering what we were saying, though Ben always seemed to know much more than I.
He always seemed positive, even on the worst days like when his bike was stolen. We walked out of the building, me on my way to my dorm and he on his way to a different class.
We never had important conversations, just little ones like busy schedules or what we hoped the rest of our TCNJ experience would be like.
While I never may have crossed paths with Ben again at TCNJ, it hurts to know that I never can.
