After Ben's first visit to TCNJ during his junior year of high school, there was never any question about where he would go to college.

During our visit, Ben received a French horn lesson from Kathy Mehrtens, and she ended the meeting with the arrival of the entire TCNJ French horn ensemble. The students took Ben on a tour of the music building and immediately made him feel welcome.

After the tour, the ensemble rehearsed for a concert that they were having that evening. They invited Ben to sit on stage and practice with them. He couldn’t have been more thrilled.

When we got home that night Ben was on cloud 9 and it was clear that TCNJ was the right place for him.

Starting with the people he met prior to attending school in the freshman chats, to all of the members of the music program, his fraternity brothers, fellow students, dorm friends and finally his housemates, he loved you all and we are so happy that he had such wonderful friends.
